In Pre-Professional Level 2, students continue to strengthen their stability in turns and other exercises executed on demi-pointe. Strong emphasis is placed on developing smooth coordination of the arms, head and body. Level 2 students can expect increasingly more complex combinations of steps, as well as an increase in tempo. Pre-pointe is also introduced in this level and students will begin to develop the necessary strength to hold themselves “en pointe” as they move to the next level.

Dress Code
Girls: All Level 2 students will need at least one of the SoDanca Patrish SL03 style leotards in Raspberry and one SoDanca Lyonese Skirt - SL68 in Light Lavender for events, performances, and outreach programming. For regular weekly classes, students may wear a different style leotard , but it must be the Raspberry color pictured HERE. Students should wear pink or skin tone tights, pink or skin tone ballet shoes, and their hair in a bun (all hair decoration secured)
Boys: Black footed or footless tights (black socks if footless), black canvas shoes, white or purple fitted t-shirt
